Denton Shelter Pets Need Your Help!

We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
The Denton Animal Support Foundation (DASF) is honored to have served our community for the last 14 years. Even through these unprecedented times, we are proud of the outcomes accomplished in saving thousands of abandoned and abused pets. While continuing our primary focus on shelter pets, DASF has broadened our mission to provide vital assistance to Denton area pets, as well as education on animal welfare.
Since 2006, DASF has granted over $3.2 million to the City of Denton for construction of the new Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center, pet adoption subsidies to increase adoptions, critical shelter supplies, shelter pet medical assistance, building projects not in the city budget, as well as community grants for boarding pets of victims of domestic violence, FREE rabies vaccines, spay/neuter, emergency pet food and supplies, k9 police kevlar vests, emergency medical assistance, and more. As Denton continues to grow, so does the need for help.
We’re thrilled to announce that Denton Animal Support Foundation will be celebrating our eleventh annual North Texas Giving Day on Thursday, September 17th. All shelter pets at both Denton Animal Shelter and Lake Dallas Animal Shelter will be subsidized that day by a DASF grant allowing ½ price adoptions.
The donations we receive on North Texas Giving Day through the North Texas Giving Day website will go even further to help Denton animals in need. With every donation of $25 or more on North Texas Giving Day, Denton Animal Support Foundation will receive bonus funds from Communities Foundation of Texas.
Funds will benefit shelter pets and other local initiatives aiding needy and at-risk pets. The COVID-19 crisis has severely impacted so many pet owners who are now forced to seek help from DASF for their pets. They still need us, and we still need you.
For 2020, we have a goal of raising $100,000 during North Texas Giving Day. Will you help us reach that goal?
